Today at I/O, we announced that we’re starting to roll out AI Mode to everyone in the U.S. 🎉And coming this week, we’re bringing a custom version of Gemini 2.5, our most intelligent model, to our AI search experience. We’ll also be launching new features in AI Mode in Labs over the coming months: 1️⃣ Deep Search: You can dive deeper on your toughest research questions. You can get an expert-level, fully cited report in minutes. 2️⃣ Search Live: We’re bringing Project Astra’s live capabilities to Search, so you can get help in real-time, along with helpful web links. 3️⃣ Agentic booking: We’re bringing Project Mariner’s agentic capabilities to AI Mode to save you time when it comes to booking event tickets, restaurant reservations and local appointments. 4️⃣ Shopping: Our new shopping experience in AI Mode brings together capabilities from our leading AI models and our Shopping Graph to help you from inspiration to purchase. Try on clothes virtually to get a sense for how different styles will look on you (available today). And when the price is right for you, Search can securely buy it on your behalf with Google Pay, under your guidance. 5️⃣ Personal context: Will offer tailored results and suggestions based on your past searches, and the option to link your Gmail as well. 6️⃣ Custom charts and graphs: Will help with data visualization, starting with sports and finance.
