Introducing Audio Overviews, now available in the Gemini app

What’s changing

Leveraging the same technology that powers NotebookLM’s Audio Overviews, Gemini app users can now generate podcast-style conversations based on documents, slides, and Deep Research reports. Upload files about topics you want to explore and enjoy dynamic discussions between two AI hosts with unique perspectives.

To create an Audio Overview, simply upload documents or slides on a variety of topics and click the suggestion chip that pops up above the prompt bar. You can listen to these AI-generated discussions to gain new insights and stay informed, even while multitasking. Audio Overview is accessible on the web and in the Gemini mobile app, and you can easily download them to listen on the go.

As Dr. Clifford Hudis , CEO of ASCO, my oncologist and friend once said to me: “AI is a critical part of democratizing healthcare – so that everyone, everywhere can have access to the best insights” that are invaluable to achieving the best outcomes.
